Be aware of...
Things sometimes go wrong, and it's important to know what problems might be in store before you buy. In this section we give you the lowdown on under spending, losing reciepts, and obselete household items.
Here's where to start:
- Don't sell yourself short, be aware that your peers will judge you on the purchases you make so always aim for the 'in' brand name
- It's never good to regret your purchases - always remember, if you bought it on instinct you were probably right so go with it - respect your subconcious consumer
- If you lose your reciept, some retailers may offer you an exchange - how great is that!
- Be aware of market developments and try to guard against 'consumer stagnation' (where you hold on to out-dated purchases in favour of replacement items)
- Always be aware of coordinated purchases - for example if you're buying an item of furniture, look for complimentary items that may also be availiable
